EventConnect Service Fee Credit
Woodside Sports is excited to share news from our partner EventConnect. The $7 service fee that teams paid when they booked their rooms will be available as a credit toward future bookings. Here’s the email that was sent out to teams:
Dear EventConnect Partners,
As you are aware, the evolving situation due to COVID-19 has caused considerable uncertainty and disruption in the Sports Tourism industry and we want to unite with our partners to help through these trying times.
Sport Tourism has shown resilience in all economic conditions. Although the current situation is unprecedented, every indicator is telling us that our industry will recover promptly. As history has shown us, consumers will have new expectations which we need to prepare for together.
Today, EventConnect, by way of this announcement is committing to an exciting new program to support our valued tournament partners and our collective desire to do the right thing for every team and family who reserved a hotel for a postponed or cancelled tournament, or is planning to make a hotel reservation for an upcoming tournament, where there is still uncertainty. ALL Non-Refundable Service Fees are being upgraded to No Risk Full Credits, these changes will provide families with a no risk, full credit on the service fee that were paid for reservations that were eventually cancelled.
